Bring Ted to the office in NYC.

There is a new face to put on the office calendar. Ted, our Unitree R1 EDU humanoid robot, gives your team a different kind of guest to plan around. Develop an employee gathering, office celebration or company open-house idea with EZ Robot Rentals, and make the invitation feel like something beyond the usual meeting.

We bring and operate Ted. You choose the reason to gather, the human host and the colleagues you want to welcome.

Give the office day a reason to come together.

Your plan might mark a team milestone, introduce colleagues from different departments or add a focal point to an employee event. Name the occasion first. It helps your invitation explain why people are being brought together, rather than simply announcing an unusual visitor.

Decide whether you want a scheduled welcome for the whole group or a proposed appearance within a longer office gathering. Share the audience and timing with Edmund. A clear format makes it easier for your workplace team to plan the host, room and surrounding activities.

An invitation your internal team can make its own.

Once the appearance and event arrangements are confirmed, adapt this draft for your internal communications:

Suggested human-host wording: “Meet a different kind of office guest. Ted, a Unitree R1 EDU humanoid robot, is joining [company/team occasion] with the EZ Robot Rentals team. Come to [confirmed room] at [confirmed time], where [human host] will welcome everyone and introduce the planned appearance. Afterward, join us for [your next team activity]. Contact [organizer] with questions about attending.”

Keep the confirmed room, timing and host in the invitation. If attendance is optional, say so clearly. Send your team to your existing internal event process; this concept does not require a new registration list or another marketing signup.

Five decisions for the office organizer.

If different teams have different working hours, include that in the proposed timing rather than assuming everyone attends together. If the event changes to include clients or families, explain the audience change before the final plan is agreed.

  • Who is attending? Describe the adult employee audience and expected number.
  • How do they arrive? One planned gathering, several proposed groups or part of a wider event?
  • Who is the host? Choose the person who welcomes colleagues and introduces the appearance.
  • What happens next? Name the team conversation, refreshments or other activity your own team organizes.
  • Who handles the building? Pick a workplace contact who can answer access and room questions.

A Manhattan office needs a building contact, too.

Ask your workplace or building team which entrance and route suppliers should use. Is there a loading or lift arrangement to discuss? Does the proposed room have nearby workstations, meeting sessions or guest circulation to account for? Who will meet the team on arrival?

Share the actual address, floor, proposed event space and available setup window with Edmund. A workplace photograph or simple room sketch can help explain your idea, but your building contact's current instructions are the useful starting point for access planning.

Your event questions, answered.

Does our office team operate Ted?

No. EZ Robot Rentals brings and operates Ted. Your office organizer coordinates the workplace, audience and human host.

Can we use the invitation before booking?

Use it as a private planning draft. Announce the room, time and planned appearance only after the event arrangements have been confirmed.

Is an office visit the same as a training seminar?

It can simply be an employee gathering. If you want a human-led learning or innovation discussion, share that goal and explore the dedicated corporate tech-day page.
