Brand activations · NYC & Manhattan
Robot brand activations in NYC. Make your event stand out.
Your campaign has a story. Give it an event concept worth exploring. Ted, our Unitree R1 EDU humanoid robot, can be the starting point for a future-facing brand reception, agency event or promotional gathering in New York City. Build the idea around what your brand wants to say and where you want the conversation to go.
EZ Robot Rentals brings and operates Ted. Your team owns the brand story; together, we discuss how an operated appearance could fit the experience.

Watch Ted in action
Start with a campaign idea, not a list of tricks.
Write the creative concept in one sentence: a new chapter, a conversation about the future, or a fresh way to introduce your company. Then name the human action you want to invite—meet a representative, explore a staffed display or join the next part of your event.
That gives the robot appearance a purpose within the campaign. Your brand team can shape the invitation and host language around the same idea, while Edmund reviews the proposed appearance. Keep ambitious creative possibilities in the brief as requests until the event plan is agreed.
Plan the route from first look to brand conversation.
Sketch the guest path on a simple room plan. Where do people first notice the activation? Where does your human host welcome them? Where does the agreed Ted appearance happen, and where can a brand representative continue the conversation?
Give each transition an owner. If your team wants event photography, decide who captures it and what your venue permits. If you plan registration or lead collection, keep it in your approved business process with clear ownership. A robot appearance does not replace your brand representatives or create a new data-collection system.
A six-line activation card for your creative team.
Bring rough concepts. A sketch and a clear intention are more useful than polished artwork built around an unconfirmed assumption. Review any proposed robot-related branding, audio or technical integration before commissioning finished assets.
- Brand idea: the one sentence the activation should express.
- Guest: the adult audience and the reason they are at the event.
- Moment: the proposed Ted appearance within your running order.
- Handoff: the named human representative and next conversation.
- Space: the proposed event area, guest route and venue contact.
- Assets: the host wording, signage or shot ideas you want reviewed.
Give the venue and production team the same picture.
For a Manhattan showroom, reception or campaign space, ask which area is available for the proposed appearance. How will guests move between the activation and the rest of the event? Who manages the entrance and supplier arrival? Is a building or client production review needed?
Share the actual venue instructions, event window and coordinator with Edmund. If the concept changes from a private reception to a public-facing activation, explain that change before final arrangements so the audience, space and proposed activities can be reviewed together.
Your event questions, answered.
Can we pitch a specific creative concept?
Yes. Share the event goal, venue, audience and proposed sequence. Include any requested actions or brand assets so Edmund can review what can be agreed for that event.
Will Ted deliver our sales pitch or collect leads?
Plan those roles with your own human brand representatives. If you have a specific technical or performance request for Ted, include it in the inquiry for review.
Can an experiential agency be the main contact?
Yes. Name the producer who coordinates the brief, client feedback and venue access, so the campaign has one clear planning contact.
