Make Ted the guest your Suffolk group talks about.

School and camp robot demonstrations in Suffolk County

A science theme day deserves a guest that makes people curious. Bring Ted, our Unitree R1 EDU humanoid robot, to your Suffolk County school, camp or enrichment program. EZ Robot Rentals transports, operates and demonstrates Ted. Your staff help turn that first “Wow!” into observations, questions and ideas.

One event. Different ages. A plan for each group.

A camp may have younger and older groups moving on different schedules. A school science event may have classes arriving between other activities. Start with who will observe Ted at one time, not just the total number attending your day. We can discuss the format with you before you promise a whole-program timetable.

See. Ask. Imagine.

Build a rotation plan before you announce it

01

Sort the audiences

List the age range and approximate headcount for each group. Choose an adult staff lead for every arrival. Younger observers may need a different introduction from older students.

02

Sketch the changeovers

Write a proposed arrival window, observation period and exit route for each group. Keep times provisional for our review; do not stack sessions without room for transitions.

03

Give the curiosity a second stop

After the operated demonstration, staff can lead a separate drawing or design station. Ask campers to imagine a useful robot and explain who it would help. That follow-up needs no access to Ted.

Give your theme day a thoughtful shape

STEM week

Connect the visit to a question campers are already exploring. Is their imagined robot for a home, a school or a job? What would its design need to consider?

School enrichment

Choose one grade band or a reviewed rotation plan. Have teachers collect questions and help students distinguish something they saw from something they guessed.

Family learning event

Tell us if parents and siblings will attend. Plan where each arriving group waits so the viewing area remains clear and the adult hosts can guide participation.

Your practical planning tool

A camp and school rotation worksheet

Use one line for each proposed group. This is a planning aid, not an agreed run sheet.

  1. Group name or grade band; approximate count; adult staff lead.
  2. Proposed arrival window and where that group waits.
  3. One observation or design question suited to that age range.
  4. Proposed exit route and separate follow-up activity.
  5. Exact demonstration room and a sheltered alternative if your first idea is outdoors.
  6. Host approval and a single on-site adult contact for the whole day.

Operator-led. Planned with you.

Tell us the actual Suffolk site—not just the program name.

Share your preferred dates, camp or school address, age groups, proposed rotations and room details. For an outdoor idea, include your indoor alternative; all surfaces, conditions and activities need review. We agree the demonstration, operator area, visit arrangements and quote individually. Your staff remain responsible for supervising their group.

Western Suffolk and beyond: start with the right campus

Huntington, Commack, Smithtown, Northport and Babylon organizers may be planning at a school, recreation building or a separate camp site. A program’s mailing address may not be where Ted is visiting. Give us the entrance and actual room for your event, including an eastern Suffolk location if that is your plan. EZ Robot Rentals is independent; town references and school resources do not imply a district or camp partnership.

Before your visit

Good questions.
Clear plans.

Can Ted come to a Suffolk County summer camp?

We accept camp demonstration inquiries. Send the actual site, date options, age groups and staff plan. The session format, venue suitability, activities and quote are confirmed after discussion.

Can we use an outdoor camp field?

Describe the proposed surface, conditions and viewing area, and include an indoor alternative. An outdoor location is not approved by this page; the specific setting must be reviewed.

Can every camper meet Ted in one day?

Give us the proposed groups and changeover plan. We will discuss a realistic format. This page does not promise unlimited sessions, a fixed operating duration or access for every possible group.

Do campers or students take turns driving the robot?

No. Our team operates Ted for the agreed demonstration. Your staff can lead discussion, drawing and design activities separately without students controlling the robot.

Give your next theme day a real robot moment.

Send your Suffolk venue and group plan. We will work through how a visit from Ted could fit your school or camp day.
