College and campus humanoid robot demonstrations in Suffolk
Make your next campus technology conversation something people can gather around. EZ Robot Rentals brings, operates and demonstrates Ted, our Unitree R1 EDU humanoid robot. For Suffolk faculty, student groups and event organizers, the next step is a clear brief: which campus, which audience and what kind of discussion?

A student group may meet in one building while an open event uses another. A multi-campus institution may need the same event name attached to a very different location. Make the actual room, host and arrival point part of your first inquiry. Then we can focus on the experience you want people to have rather than untangle the destination later.
See. Ask. Imagine.
One audience arrives together for the agreed demonstration and host-led questions. Tell us the room layout and what participants already know about robotics.
Prepare a short question list with your adviser. Use Ted as a starting point to compare design ideas, technology expectations or ways to explain a robot to a general audience.
If visitors arrive at different times, describe the wider event and how hosts will manage the observing group. We review the operated demonstration area and schedule before you advertise a drop-in format.
Name both. Include the host’s campus map link and a route from the approved entrance to the event space.
Identify who is making the inquiry and who can approve the room, vendor requirements and on-site arrangements.
State whether this is a class, club or broader event. Choose a discussion focus so the visit has a purpose beyond a photo.
Your practical planning tool
Complete this card for the location you are proposing, even if your institution has several sites.
Operator-led. Planned with you.
Put “Suffolk college robot visit” and the campus card in the inquiry notes. We discuss the operated activities, viewing area, visit format and quote with you. The campus host manages its approvals and participants. Dates and venues need individual confirmation, and this is a demonstration service rather than unattended robot hire or access to a research platform.
Long Island campus planning needs a specific destination. Suffolk County Community College lists the Michael J. Grant Campus in Brentwood, Ammerman in Selden and Eastern in Riverhead. Stony Brook University and Farmingdale State College are other local campus examples. Use the host’s current directions and procedures for your event. These references are geographic context only; EZ Robot Rentals claims no affiliation, endorsement or past visit at these institutions.
Before your visit
Include the institution, campus, exact building and room, arrival point and approval contact. For a multi-campus institution, the college name alone is not enough to plan the visit.
Yes. Describe whether guests arrive together or throughout a wider event. We will review the observing area, schedule and operated demonstration before confirming a format.
No. EZ Robot Rentals brings and operates Ted for the agreed demonstration. Student operation, SDK access, research access and robot modifications are not included.
This page provides no institutional approval. Your host must approve the event and any use of its name, marks or promotional materials under its own procedures.
Share your Suffolk campus and the audience you want to bring together. We will work through a focused visit from Ted with you.
