School robot demonstrations on Long Island

Turn “How does a robot work?” into a conversation students can have around a real machine. EZ Robot Rentals brings and operates Ted, our Unitree R1 EDU, for Long Island school demonstrations. Plan an enrichment visit, science-event appearance or school STEM session with your teachers and adult organizers.

A REAL ROBOT. REAL CURIOSITY.Meet Ted.
Unitree R1 manufacturer reference. Final event experience to be confirmed.

From a surprising guest to a thoughtful discussion.

A humanoid robot is an attention-grabbing starting point. The useful next step is asking better questions. What can students observe? What would they need to test? What problem would their own robot solve? Choose the grade band and class focus, and we will discuss a demonstration format that gives your teaching team a concrete starting point.

See. Ask. Imagine.

Three ways to connect the visit to class

01

Notice before guessing

Ask students to describe Ted’s visible parts and what they observed during the operated demonstration. Separate an observation from an assumption about what a robot can do.

02

Ask an engineer’s question

Choose a useful problem: how could a robot help carry out a task? Discuss the setting, the people involved and the limits a designer would need to consider.

03

Sketch the next idea

After the visit, invite students to sketch a robot idea and explain one design choice. Older groups can compare possible designs against the same goal and constraints.

Plan for the group in front of you

Elementary curiosity

Start with clear descriptions, student questions and a drawing that explains an idea.

Middle & high school inquiry

Use the demonstration as a starting point for design trade-offs, evidence and questions about responsible technology.

STEM nights & school events

Tell us how groups will arrive, how the space will be used and which adults will remain with students.

Operator-led. Planned with you.

Teachers set the focus. We operate Ted.

Send your grade band, approximate group size, teaching focus, preferred date and actual school venue. Our team brings Ted, operates the demonstration and agrees the viewing area with your school. Educators remain with their group. We will work through arrival access, supervision, scheduling and institution requirements before confirming the format and price.

Nassau County · Suffolk County

A Long Island school visit planned around your campus

For Nassau County and Suffolk County schools, the practical details matter as much as the idea. A gym-based STEM event, a classroom enrichment session and an after-school club have different layouts and schedules. Give us your town and venue so we can plan the right approach instead of treating every campus the same.

Before your visit

Good questions.
Clear plans.

Can we request a robot demonstration for a school STEM day?

Yes. EZ Robot Rentals offers operator-led educational demonstrations with Ted for school and STEM-event inquiries. Share your date, grade levels, group size and venue so we can discuss the session.

Is this a coding class or a curriculum package?

The offer is a live, operator-led robot demonstration with an agreed educational discussion. Teachers choose the learning connections and any classroom follow-up. Student coding, software access and a certified curriculum are not included.

Can you work with our teacher’s learning goals?

Tell us what students are exploring and we will discuss relevant observation and question prompts. The school retains responsibility for its curriculum and approval of the visit.

What should the school include in the inquiry?

Use the form notes for “School robot demonstration,” your school and town, grade band, approximate audience, date options, venue and goals. Provide the adult organizer’s contact details, without student names or personal records.

A school day with a very different guest.

Ready to explore a visit from Ted? Send your school’s plan and we will help turn the idea into a clear demonstration brief.
