Smithtown · One audience, one useful event brief
Give your Smithtown audience a reason to look closer.
A humanoid robot can start a conversation; your event gives that conversation its purpose. Meet Ted, our Unitree R1 EDU, and discuss a proposed appearance for your Smithtown school, workplace or celebration. Begin with the audience and the human host who connects the moment to your program.
EZ Robot Rentals brings and operates Ted. Edmund reviews your date, venue suitability, proposed activities and quote individually. An inquiry is not a booking.

Watch Ted in action
A public program and a private gathering need different questions.
Smithtown's Town Clerk publishes separate parade, run and special-event forms. Before selecting a route, identify who owns or operates the site and whether your event uses public space or affects a public route. A private office gathering should not be assigned a public-event classification simply because a robot is proposed.
Ask the responsible venue and Town office which review is relevant to your actual event. Bring their answers into the planning conversation. This guide does not determine whether a permit is required, and a rental inquiry is not event approval.
Build a school observation around the group, not a promised trick.
For a school or camp, choose a question the adult educator wants the group to explore. Share ages, group sizes, the room and how the program fits the day. A teacher can frame an observation and lead the discussion without depending on a robot teaching independently.
Include the adult coordinator and how groups would arrive and leave. If the audience benefits from a smaller or quieter format, explain that need in the inquiry rather than assuming a particular setup will work. Edmund reviews suitability and proposed activities individually.
For a company, connect the appearance to the next human speaker.
At a workplace technology day, the host might introduce Ted before a staff conversation about innovation. At a launch, your product expert remains the person who explains the product. Identify that handoff in the running order so the appearance supports your own purpose.
Send the date or options, exact venue, audience estimate, supplier access information and decision-maker. A private party needs the same practical location details, with its own occasion and timetable. The requested appearance, complete quote and availability are confirmed individually.
Smithtown organizer questions
Is every robot appearance a public special event?
This page does not make that determination. Share the site and event format, and ask the responsible operator or Town office which approval route applies.
Can an educator plan an observation visit?
Yes. Submit the age range, group sizes, venue, timing and discussion goal. The actual appearance and proposed activities are reviewed individually.
Can you promise a quieter or smaller session?
Describe the audience's needs and the venue options in the inquiry. A particular format or accommodation is not confirmed until the actual plan has been reviewed.
Who should coordinate a company inquiry?
An adult event lead, office manager, producer or other authorized organizer can provide the venue and program brief. Include the venue contact and final decision-maker where known.
A focused program makes a useful starting point.
Tell Edmund who is attending your Smithtown event, where it will take place and what happens before and after the proposed appearance. Date, suitability, activities and quote are individually reviewed.
